The 2019 Southeast Basketball Academy (SEBA) Atlanta College Showcase took place on March 23 on the campus of Oglethorpe University. For the past fourteen, this event has successfully brought together available prospects from throughout the South and provided them with an opportunity to demonstrate their abilities to College Coaches. The event has served as bridge between players and coaches and has resulted in scholarships and playing opportunities for hundreds of players since its inception.
This year’s edition of the SEBA College Showcase carried on that tradition, as 200 prospects representing all parts of Georgia as well as seven other states were eager to compete and display their talent to the large collection of college coaches in attendance.

Jordan Stanley (with ball) is a 2019 Wing who impressed with his all-around play
2019 & 2020 Wings
Jordan Stanley (6' 4, Wing, Cumberland Christian Academy; 2019) is a "glue guy" who does the necessary things to help his team win. A high energy wing with a strong upper body, he caught the eye of several coaches with his efficient scoring inside, excellent rebounding, and hard nosed defense. He does really well in transition, running the floor hard, and has above average athleticism. A two-time All-Region selection, he helped lead Cumberland Christian to back-to-back GICAA State Titles. Mateja Milak (6' 4, Wing, Flint River Academy; 2019) is an intriguing prospect with alot of upside. He has a well balanced perimeter skill set combined with good athleticism. A native of Eastern Europe, He showed good bounce and ability to finish above the rim on several occasions. He has a nice step back jumper that is tough to defend and good range on his three point shot. He also showed he can put the ball on the floor and breakdown defenders off the dribble. Kiel Godwin (6' 5, Wing, Marietta; 2019) is an inside-out threat who plays with a great motor. He was equally comfortable knocking down three point shots as well as banging from buckets on the lower block. He runs the floor hard and had several fast break power dunks. What was most impressive about his game was the intensity displayed on the defensive end of the floor, specifically his rebounding and interior paint protection. The hunger is there and is evident in how he approaches the game. Josh Spencer (6' 6, Wing, Alpharetta; 2020) is a talented young player whose best days of basketball are certainly ahead of him. He has good length and showed to be effective in the paint while also having a solid skill level on the perimeter for his size. He runs the floor with ease and is an active presence on the boards. He is player to keep an eye on in North Fulton County. Evan Rees (6' 4, Wing, Horizon Christian Academy. 2019) is a sleeper prospect who had a good camp. We liked his ability to attack the rim from the wing and finish in traffic. He also showed a consistent three point shot off the dribble and spot. He plays good team basketball and wasn't afraid to dive on the floor for loose balls or set screens for teammates. His on court abilities and a strong academic resume (3.6 GPA and 24 ACT) should bring some attention his way. Maclean Hoekwater (6' 5, Wing, Trinity Christian School; 2020) was a breakout player at the camp and impressed with his overall play. He is a smart and coachable player who plays within the flow of the offense. He shot the ball extremely well from the outside, knocking down several long threes with a hand in his face. He has the ability to use his size to post up smaller wings and is a crafty, yet physical finisher in the paint. Nice prospect whose stock should rise considerably over the next several months.

2019 & 2020 Forwards and Centers
2019 Femi Akinola is a long and athletic prospect with good upside.
Femi Akinola (6' 6, Forward, Arlington Christian; 2019) is a long and athletic forward who is an active rim protector. He was one of the top shot blockers in camp and is very active on the offensive boards. An All-State selection, He has a good repertoire of scoring post moves on the block. While good in the paint, he also has the ability to play on the wing and is impressive when slashing to the basket with a quick first step. Runs the lane well on fast break opportunities. R. Walker Mathis (6' 7, Forward, JR Arnold , FL; 2020) is a impressive 2020 prospect from the Florida Panhandle. He was very active defensively in the paint. As a shot blocker, he exhibits good instincts, timing, and is a quick off his feet. He provided excellent help defense for his team. Offensively, he played with himself; finishing consistently when the chance was there and showing some good bounce with a few nice dunks on the day. He is a standout student with a 4..3 GPA and 26 ACT as a Junior. Academically select schools should take a close look. Jacob Olodude (6' 5, Forward, Tampa Bay tech; 2019) is a big bodied forward who plays with good physicality. He is a scoring threat on the low block, plays with good hustle, and crashes the boards hard. He carries a 3.7 GPA in the classroom. Jonas Ebach (6' 7, Forward, Flint River Academy, 2019) was a forward who impressed with his production and long term potential. A more traditional big man, he made his living on the lower block and has a nice scoring touch around the rim. He passes well out of double teams and was active on the offensive boards for his team. He scored off the pick-n-roll several times. He has a good frame to add some weight as he physically matures, which will help him take his game to the next level.
7' 0 Center Richard Rivers is a big presence in the paint
Richard Rivers (7' 0, Center, Peachtree Ridge; 2019) has tremendous physical presence at 7'0 tall and 265 lbs. The characteristic of Richard's game that first catches your attention is his shooting ability. He has legitimate three point range and a smooth stroke for his size. He knocked down elbow jumpers consistently when given room. On the low block, he continuously commands double teams, where he showed good passing skills and vision to hit open teammates for clean looks. While there is certain room for development in his game, there is no question he has terrific potential at the next level. Maxwell Meminger (6' 6, Forward, Mount De Sales Academy; 2019) is a long player with versatility to play inside and on the perimeter. He showed a good shooting touch stretching out to beyond the arc. He showed some good bounce and ability to play above the rim. With continued development, he could be a nice contributor for a program at the next level. Reginald Lang (6' 4, Forward, Mount Zion; 2019) is a workhorse in the paint and an aggressive and physical defensive presence. While he wasn't among the biggest forwards in camp, he played bigger than his size and and did a great job blocking shots, owning the boards, and being a strong interior force for his team. Tristen Anthony (6' 6, Forward, Alpha Omega Prep; 2019) is a long forward who was a steady contributor throughout the day. He finished consistently in the paint and and his length provided good defensive presence as a rim protector and rebounder for his team.
6' 8 Forward Bryce Clark is a Player to Watch in Georgia's Class of 2020
Bryce Clark (6' 8, Forward, Woodstock; 2020) was one of the top 2020 prospects in attendance and is a player with really good upside. At 6'8, he has a strong frame, is physical, and plays with good intensity. He is a good finisher in the paint and has several strong go-to post moves. He shoots the ball really well for a big man and is a consistent three-point threat. He is a leader on the floor and is vocal. His on court talent combined with a 4.2 GPA makes him a player that College Coaches will definitely want to make a point to see over the next few months. Zander Hamilton (6' 5, Forward, Thomson, 2019) is a force in the paint and possesses a good mixture of athleticism and physical play. He has a strong interior game, where he scored on a series of aggressive power moves to the rim. He is a excellent offensive rebounder and scored on numerous putbacks. He runs the floor and is an active defender. Zander averaged 18 & 12 while being named Region "Player of the Year" and All-State this past season.
