In Showcase settings, it is common to see players trying to do things they don't normally do. Felix did not have the problem. He Having helped lead ELCA to the State Championship Game this past season with athletic and hard nosed play inside the paint, Felix brought that same type of game to camp and really thrived in doing it. He is an outstanding leaper and plays with a great motor. He controlled the boards on both ends of the floor and is an aggressive rim protector. Offensively, he finished around the rim with a combination of layups and power dunks, mixed in with occasional face-up jumper. Just recently committed to play his College ball at Maryville College. Look for Felix to be a high impact player in the USA South Conference over the next four years.
Explosive wing guard who impressed with his all around game. Malcolm excelled in the open court throughout the day. He runs the floor very well and has the ability to finish way above the rim. Had several highlight reel dunks on the day. Our camp staff really liked how active he was on the defensive end and played with consistent intensity throughout the day. Attacks the rim well within the half court set and is above average rebounder from the guard spot.
Blooming guard prospect with great length/wing span; Jalen had a very good showing at camp. He demonstrated a smooth perimeter game with dual ability to drive and knock down jumpers consistently from beyond the arc. Moves well without the ball to find seams in defense. He shot the ball well while spotting up and off the bounce. Defensively, he covers alot of ground and has good versatility. Player with nice potential whose best ball is ahead of him.
Jet quick point guard with the ability to score and create for others; handles the ball really well and creates good space away from defender on his pull up jumper. Is a player with the ability to get very hot from beyond the arc; and knocked down more than his share of long treys on the day. Sees the floor well and does a great job of getting the ball to teammates with good timing and in scoring position. Puts good defensive pressure on opposing guards in full court. Carries a 3.96 GPA and is a primary recruiting target for several of the schools in attendance.
Talented Playmaker who understands the responsibility of the point guard position. He handles the ball well and has great court vision. He controlled the tempo of the game and seemed to make something good happen whenever the ball was in his hands. Has good speed and excels while leading the break. A more than capable scorer, the Class AAAAAA All-State selection was a 1,000+ point career scorer for Dacula. He finishes really well on drives to the rim and has good physicality. Solid jump shot. A stellar academic student with a 4.0 GPA, he is going to make a very good pickup for a program at the next level.
Talented wing guard with good blend of athleticism and skill. He was an effective scorer at the rim and on the perimeter. Was at his best when attacking the rim off the dribble, and has the bounce and strength to power thru contact. Runs the floor hard and had several impressive dunks on fast break. Good rebounder and active defender. Is a three time All-Region selection, averaged 19 ppg & 7 boards this past season.
A three-time All-Region guard who averaged 22 ppg this season, Austin backed up his impressive high school stats with a strong camp performance. He has a very good mid-range jumper and three point shot and smooth release. He uses a very good change of pace dribble to blow past defenders and create for himself and teammates. Plays with good intensity, he was more than willing to dive on the floor for loose balls and play aggressive on ball defense. He carries a 3.7 GPA and 1320 SAT. Will make a great pickup for an academically selective program.
Strong and physical forward who thrives in the paint while also having the ability to play the wing effectively. Is a top notch rebounder who crashes boards hard. Very good positional defender in the post, can also step out and check wings on the perimeter. Has three point range on shot. One of the top screeners in camp, he is very comfortable in pick-n-roll game. Plays with good hustle and isn't afraid to do the little things to put his team in position to win.
One of the top floor generals in the event, Nayari did a fine job orchestrating the offense for his team and making everyone around him better. His combination of speed and court vision is impressive. He was successful weaving in and out of defenders in the open court as well as attacking the paint in the half court set. The year of Prep school at TSF has visibly developed his game as he has put on at least 10 lbs of muscle and plays with more court confidence. He looks more than ready to successfully lead a team from the PG spot this Fall at the College level.
Alex had a breakout season for Etowah and continued to raise his stock at the SEBA Showcase and catching the eyes of several coaches. He is a lights out shooter from beyond the arc with a smooth stroke and the ability to get very hot. He was automatic from three point land when his feet were set. He puts his length and upper body strength to good use as a lock down defender on the perimeter. A highly coachable player with great work ethic, Alex has improved dramatically over the past year and expect him to continue that progression as he steps up to the college level.
Energetic wing guard with powerful frame, Lance was literally all over the floor making good things happen. He has good speed and an extra gear which allows him to blow past defender for strong finishes at the rim. He does a nice job of creating his shot off the dribble and knocked down the pull-up jumper throughout the day. Coaches like his ability to lead the break and make good decisions with the ball. Loose balls, rebounds, pass deflections, and steals....he was a menace on defense and plays with the kind of hustle that spread to his camp team. Was named 1st Team All-Region this past season.
Talented Middle Georgia guard who can flat out score the rock. Malik did a great job breaking down his man off the dribble and finishing at the rim. He was equally dangerous from the outside, where he knocked down an array of pull-up jumpers and three point daggers. He showed good court leadership and was vocal on both ends of the floor. A 1st Team All-State selection in Class A this past year, he averaged an impressive 26 ppg under the legendary Coach James Lunsford.
