    9/30/2021

The 2021 SEBA Atlanta All-Star Shootout was held September 25 on the campus of Pope High School. The 18th Anniversary Fall event featured 150 prospects from throughout all of Georgia, as well as from the states of Florida, Tennessee, and Alabama. The players were provided the opportunity to demonstrate their talent to the more than forty (40) plus College Coaches in the building, as well as some of the top media and scouting outlets in the South.

Here is Part 2 in a series of reports profiling the Event's Top Performers:

    Top Performers 1

    Picture
Elijah Wiseman (6' 2, PG, Cumberland Christian Academy; 2022)
Explosive lead guard who is electric with the basketball. Has nice combination of athleticism, length, and perimeter skill. Tight handle; very good at creating his shot off the dribble in tight spaces. Has an advanced pull-up, good elevation on jumper. Quick with the ball in transition and has the ability to finish above the rim with soaring dunks. Strong on ball defender and active in passing lanes. Guard who has all the tools to be a very good player at the College level.
    Picture
Zsomber Vertes (6' 6, Wing, Rabun Gap; 2023)
International player from Hungary made a big splash with his play at camp, where he was one of the event's top offensive producers. Point blank, he was a hand full for opposing teams. He shot the ball with high accuracy from three point land and also got to the rim with ease. Used his physicality and body control to finish several tough drives in traffic. Played well within flow of the game. He is hard nosed and plays with alot of enthusiasm which was contagious to his teammates. Defensively he was active and was able to guard multiple positions. Should be a key contributor for a loaded Rabun Gap team that has the talent to compete on a National level this season.
    Picture
Sebastian Tidor (6' 4, Guard, East Paulding; 2022)
While he is a known talent in his area, it is clear that Tidor is one of the most underrated prospects state-wide in Georgia. Checks many of the boxes of a legit Low Major D1 prospect. A 6' 4 guard with great frame and high level athleticism, Tidor is a player who impacts the game all over the floor. He is capable of playing the role of alpha scorer, and giving you 25+ points on any given day. He can punish you on drives to the rim, is a capable outside shooter, and thrives in transition. What makes his game all the more special is his versatility as a playmaker. He sees the floor well and creates for teammates. Excellent rebounder from guard spot and has the qualities to be a defensive standout at next level. College Coaches will be wise to take a close look. All-State candidate.
    Picture
    Jonathan Carroll (6' 7, Forward; Osborne; 2022)
Emerging forward who had good showing on both ends of the floor. Was one of the better interior defenders in camp. He changed alot of shots with his length and was very active. Covers alot of ground and is a force on the defensive boards. Has a knack for being around the ball. Gets out in transition and runs the floor well for a player his size. In half court set, showed the ability to stretch the defense by knocking down several treys. Solid interior scorer who works hard for position. One of several talented Osborne players who made good impressions and caught the eyes of coaches in attendance.
    Picture
Joseph "JoJo" Bell (6' 3, SG, Central; 2022)
Versatility is one word that comes to mind when describing this high academic prospect (4.2 GPA) from West Georgia. An excellent athlete, his leaping ability catches "oohs and ahhs" as he elevates for dunks and blocked shots. However, his all-around floor game is even more impressive. On offensive, he can score in bunches and is a legit threat from all three levels. He is a good slasher and can also create his jumper really well in the mid-range. He can hurt you as a solid spot up three-point shooter and is a continuous presence on the offensive boards. He is really good in transition, runs the lane hard, and can finish with authority. Defensively, he can effectively guard all positions at the high school level. Very active in passing lanes. At the College level, his defensive interchangeability will be a valued asset. High character young man is currently receiving strong interest from numerous schools.
    Picture
Lukas Platauna (6' 4, SG, Woodville Tompkins; 2022)
Prospect out of Savannah was one of the event's biggest stock risers. His camp performance resulted in numerous schools reaching out right after camp, including an offer from Maryville. Not hard to see why College Coaches are intrigued with Lukas. He has good size for a guard and a pretty but dangerous stroke from beyond the arc. He knocked down threes all over the perimeter, and has the quickness to put the ball on the floor and attack the paint off the bounce. Multiple evaluators commented on his patience in the half court set and ability to pick his spots within the flow of the offense. His skill set should translate well to the next level. Poised for a big Senior season at Woodville Tompkins.
    Picture
    Dylan Cambridge (6' 4, Guard, Kell; 2022)
Always fun to watch players who posses elite athleticism but who also play the game with a high motor. Dylan is that type of player. He has great bounce and had several highlight reel finishes above the rim. He plays the game with high energy on both ends of the floor. He is a versatile defender who can force turnovers, lock down guards on the perimeter, and has the strength and physicality to bang in the paint against taller players. He attacked the rim on the drive throughout the day and finished well around the bucket. Sees the floor well in halfcourt set and kept defense honest with a solid outside shot. All in all, a competitor that helps his team win ball games. Will be a huge component for Kell program expected to once again be one of the State's top teams in Class 6A.
